The
B-7 Sheepskin (pictured left) is a classic World War II bomber coat. The Army Air Force authorized production of the B-7 to help protect bomber pilots and ground crew personnel against bitterly cold temperatures found in Northern Europe and flying in unheated cockpits at 20,000 feet. The great looks and supple feel of a leather jacket practically defined what a heroic service member was supposed to look like.
Today, our vintage flight jackets and coats are still constructed to the same rugged specs. These
authentic military reproductions have been slightly modified to accommodate today's climate and consumer taste. But the legend lives on with the same quality fabrication and attention to detail.
